Enter now for a chance to represent the U.S. in the World Backgammon Internet Federation (WBIF) World Cup and Champions Cup! Entry deadline is Friday, March 29th. Qualifier matches will take place on Saturday, March 30th.

There’s no cap on qualifier entries. However, only six players from a single country can participate in the main events – three for the World Cup and three for the Champions Cup. While qualifier winners will represent the U.S., these are individual events, not team events.
Qualifier Entry Deadline: Friday, March 29th, midnight, Eastern
Qualifier Date: Saturday, March 30th, starting at 2 pm Eastern time.
Main Tournaments: The main tournaments start April 1st and allow up to two weeks to finish each round.
Cost: $20 qualifier entry, no fee to play in the main tournament. If you qualify, you must either be a current WBIF member or join before April 1st. WBIF membership is 10 Euros per year, but you only need to join if you qualify.
Enter: Register and pay, USBGF Online Tournament Series You must be logged in with your USBGF username and password.
Format: Matches are nine points each, continuing until fewer than 12 players remain, typically spanning two to three rounds. If six players remain, all qualify. If there are seven to eleven players, the top six based on average performance rating (PR) qualify. Once six qualifiers are determined, the three with the lowest overall average PR join the Champions Cup, while the other three join the World Cup.
