Our Mission

In coordination with the USBGF, the US National Backgammon Team Committee is coordinating an effort to showcase the very best of the U.S. Backgammon Federation on the world stage during the August 2026 WBGF World Team Championships in London.

We are committed to assembling the very best of US backgammon talent, and we are running fundraisers to reward or donors. Donations are exclusively used for the essential costs like travel, accommodations, registration fees, and team expenses. Every contribution ensures our team can focus on the board, and not the budget.

  • Deadline for Submission of Interest: All interested, eligible players must submit their formal expression of interest by December 31, 2025.

  • Bid Extensions: Formal invitations (“bids”) will be extended to the selected team members in April 2026.

  • Sponsorship Note: Any potential team sponsorship funding will be finalized and disclosed to the selected players at the time the final bids are extended in April 2026.
