The American Backgammon Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have achieved extraordinary playing results and/or have made extraordinary contributions to the game of backgammon in the United States.

He is the founder of the American Backgammon Tour, has directed the Chicago Bar Point Club since 1983, directed the Midwest Backgammon Championships from 1984 thru 2009, and has directed the Central States Invitational since 2010.
