Event Details

Hosted by Jason Briggs, a backgammon entrepreneur with a passion for supporting the U.S. Backgammon Foundation, this annual one-day championship brings private club teams together for a full day of backgammon and hospitality.

Each team consists of 3 players. Team members should be members in good standing at the club they represent and must be annual USBGF members.

Teams compete for national honors and the event's NEW traveling trophy.

Team Eligibility

A team captain should purchase the team entry and coordinate the 3-player roster.

Clubs that are unable to field a complete 3-player team should contact event director Ben Friesen.

Friday Charity Auction

NPCC players, club members, and supporters are invited to stop by The Briggs Residence in Palm Beach on Friday for the charity auction, which begins at 11:00 AM. Absentee bids will also be accepted in advance.

To place an absentee bid, contact Ben Friesen with your maximum bid.

  Compete in a major ABT doubles tournament at your choice of ABT event.Available ABT events include Miami, Los Angeles, New York, San Antonio, San Diego, Washington DC, Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Boston.
• Match Recording, Professional Analysis & Lessons PackageHave your SAMP or NPCC matches recorded and analyzed by a backgammon professional. Includes 3 lessons with the pro.

Friday Dinner

The Friday evening dinner is open to all SAMP participants, Gold and higher Founding Sponsors, and all Mission Sponsors, each with a guest. NPCC-only players may attend by becoming Bronze Mission Sponsors or higher.

Jacket required.
