The Santa Ynez Backgammon Club meets twice monthly, typically on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, at Petros Winery & Restaurant (3360 Foxen Canyon Rd., Los Olivos, CA). General play begins at 4:30 PM, and players of all skill levels are welcome.
Founded by Teri Harmon in 2025, the club has grown into a fun and welcoming community for both experienced players and newcomers. As Teri relocates to Nevada, Marty Sulc has assumed responsibility for organizing the club and continuing its tradition of friendly competition and social play.
Players are encouraged to bring their own backgammon boards if available. Games range from casual play to competitive matches, including optional use of the doubling cube and match-play formats. New players are always welcome, and experienced members are happy to help those learning the game.
