USBGF membership offers many opportunities to meet, compete in-person and online, and communicate with backgammon players in the U.S. and around the world.

March 20, 2012: Registration deadline for 2012 USBGF National Club Team Championship, an online competition among USBGF affiliated local club three-person teams will be held online over two months. Teams include three USBGF Premium/Youth members (one optional floater permitted). A traveling trophy goes to club winner, and certificates are awarded to team members of top four teams.
April 21: 2012 USBGF Intercollegiate Backgammon Team Championship, a one-day online tournament for backgammon clubs at universities and colleges. Open to USBGF Youth members who are full-time undergraduate and graduate students. Full-time college students may join as Youth members regardless of age. Collegiate Hall on safeharborgames.net provides an opportunity for college students to play throughout the year.
June 8-10: 2012 USBGF National Championships at LA Open, to be held at the Four Points by Sheraton at LAX. First entry free, re-entries $50 with optional side pool. The winner will play Ed O’Laughlin, winner of the USBGF National Championship at the NY Metropolitan Open, for the Grand Championship in LA. Additional details coming soon.
