How to Transcribe a Match Using XG

Phil Simborg USBGF Teaching Pro and Justin Nunez show us how to transcribe a match using eXtremeGammon.

  1. Marty Storer Marty Storer says:

One thing I’d like to know: Suppose I enter moves for a new game and save everything. But oops, instead of entering Game 9, I entered Game 10 in the place of Game 9. How do I correct that, as well as similar mistakes (say if I enter a partial game and save by mistake)? There doesn’t seem to be any way to delete an entire game from the transcription, or if there is, I couldn’t find out how to do it.

  2. Michael Flohr says:

    Very informative video!
In the section about the cube, what if you want to cube, but accidently click
the cursor on the board and eXBG rolls the dice instead? The undo does
not work in the match I was entering, so how do you correct this to undo
the roll and show a cube instead?

    • Marty Storer Marty Storer says:

Within a game, I can undo anything. Try accepting whatever roll it was, then undoing from there. You should be able to get back to a point where you can enter a roll or a cube-turn.
