Alfred Mamlet

Alfred M. Mamlet is a member of the USBGF Board of Directors and chairs its Legislative Committee. He is a partner in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he heads the Technology Department and the Intellectual Property practice group, focusing on telecommunications transactions, regulatory matters, and telecom and intellectual property disputes in the US and abroad. Mr. Mamlet provides value-added strategic advice based on his thorough understanding of the telecommunications industry. He is recognized by his peers as a leading telecommunications lawyer in Chambers, The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, The Legal 500, PLC Which Lawyer?, and An International Who’s Who of Telecom Lawyers. He finished 1^st place in the 2011 Colorado State Championship; 2^nd in the 2011 California State Championship, and 1^st in the 2011 Michigan Summer Championships Doubles event with Alan Grunwald. He was a semi-finalist in Pittsburgh 2011, 2^nd in Masters Denver 2011, and first in blitz in Michigan 2011.
