John O’Hagan

John O’Hagan is a member of the USBGF Board of Governors, and a frequent contributor to the USBGF PrimeTime Backgammon magazine. He has been playing backgammon since 1980. He finished second in the ABT rankings for 2010, ranks 10th in the all-time ABT, and ranks 11th in the world on the Giants of Backgammon list. In 2010, he won the New Mexico State Championships and the Florida State Championships. In 2005 at the Monte Carlo World Championship in Monaco, he made it to the finals of the 238 player Championship Main. He recently retired so he would have more time to both play and promote the game.
