Harvey Gillis

Harvey Gillis is a member of the USBGF Board of Governors and Education Committee, and served as Chairman of the Board of the U.S. Backgammon Federation from May to September 2010, and served as a member of the Board from its initial formation until September 2010. He tied for first in the 2011 Atlanta Masters and won the 2011 LA Open. He is CEO of Sunrise Capital Corporation, a venture capital and business investment firm, and as CEO of HG Enterprises, a business strategy and performance consulting company. He has served on numerous public and private technology boards of directors. He received a B.S. in engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University where he was Editor-In-Chief of the college magazine, and holds an M.S. in engineering and an MBA from Stanford University. Additionally, Mr. Gillis has a Pacific Coast Banking School commercial banking degree. He was an adjunct professor for Business Analysis & Valuation for University of Washington 2nd year MBAs.
